Pat always had an open heart and it was full of love for my family, anytime, anywhere. We were a group of girls turning into women in front of Pat's eyes and she was always supportive and full of advice. I got married and she welcomed my children, I suffered a major tragedy and she stood by the kids and I. She would just quietly hang out with me in the park with the kids, checking in that I was ok. We would have great conversations about life and how sometimes it was unfair, but she always, always saw the silver lining. I think of her always with a smile on my face.
