In February 1975,we embarked on our first real trip to Hawaii. We had a wonderful time,one that we will never forget. Pat and Danny toured us around and were great hosts. One particular evening we went out and Andrea and Michelle were left with a sitter named Carla. The house was in a bit of disarray as Pat was never much of a housekeeper. I think she always had more important things to do. As was no surprise we did not arrive back until the wee hours of the morning. I think alcohol may have been involved. As we arose the next morning, not very early though, I recall the house looking pretty much the same as when we had left the evening before. Not according to Pat though. We will never forget her comment as she looked over the place and calmly remarked "I must say Carla left a bitch of a mess here last night!" Pat will be missed but she will always be remembered.
